To give you the best value every time you shop, we offer a Best Price Guarantee on duty free wine and spirits products at our Brisbane Airport and Melbourne Airport stores (Departures and Arrivals). We’ll match the price of any identical wine or spirits product sold by another duty free store in Australia or New Zealand. Conditions apply.

What is the Best Price Guarantee?

If you find the same wine or spirits product offered at a lower price by another duty free retailer in Australia or New Zealand, we’ll match it.*

It’s our promise to you: the best price on duty free liquor, or we’ll match it.

What qualifies?

To be eligible for a price match:

  • The product must be identical in brand, variant, size, and quantity
  • The competitor’s product must be in stock and available for sale at the time
  • The offer must be from a duty free operator in Australia or New Zealand
  • The shopping method must be the same (i.e. in-store)
  • The competitor’s price must be standard (non-promotional). Not discounted, part of a bundle, clearance, or member-only deal.
  • The price must be publicly verifiable via a working online link
  • Purchase must not be completed yet: no retrospective matching

Full Terms & Conditions

Lotte Duty Free will match the standard (non-promotional) duty free price on any identical wine or spirits product sold by another duty free operator in Australia or New Zealand, subject to the following conditions:

  1. 1. “Identical” means:
    • Same product brand
    • Same product type (e.g., whiskey, rum)
    • Same size, packaging (e.g., 1L bottle) and alcoholic content
    • Same country of origin
    • Same variant (e.g., regular, limited edition, single malt, etc.)
    • Product is currently available and in stock
    • Same shopping method used (i.e. in-store)
    • The lower price is not part of a temporary discount, clearance, bundle or promotional deal
    • Same applicable purchase limits (if any)
  2. 2. The price must be publicly available and verifiable via an online link at the time of request.
  3. 3. Price match must be requested prior to purchase. Refunds or retrospective adjustments will not be offered on completed sales.
  4. 4. This guarantee does not apply to:
    • Pricing errors
    • Member-only or unpublished/private offers
  5. 5. For price comparisons involving New Zealand-based duty free stores, prices will be converted into AUD using the current exchange rate available via a publicly accessible exchange calculator (e.g. Google’s currency converter) at the time of the price match request.
  6. 6. You must be 18 years of age or older to request the Best Price Guarantee for alcohol products. Lotte Duty Free reserves the right to verify age in accordance with Australian law.
  7. 7. To the extent permitted by law, Lotte Duty Free will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss related to the exercise of this Best Price Guarantee.

Q: Can I request a match after I’ve paid?
A: Unfortunately no, price matches must be verified and requested before your transaction is finalised.

Q: Does this apply to promotions or bundle deals?
A: No. The guarantee applies only to standard, non-promotional prices.

Q: Does this include Dan Murphy’s, Liquorland or domestic retailers?
A: No. The guarantee applies only to other duty free operators within Australia and New Zealand.

Q: Can I use this online?
A: Currently, the Best Price Guarantee is available in-store only at our Brisbane and Melbourne Airport stores.

Q: What if I find a better price at another Lotte Duty Free store?
A: This guarantee is only valid for price comparisons with other duty free retailers, not within the Lotte Duty Free network.

Q: What if I find a cheaper price in New Zealand dollars (NZD)?
A: No problem! We’ll convert the NZD price into AUD using a real-time currency converter to ensure a fair comparison.
